About this course:

This course is designed to provide advanced bodywork techniques to students who have studied for at lease two trimesters at Spirit Wellness Institute and are fully engaged in our bodywork program. In this course we will learn deep pressure techniques and approaches that will allow effective release on the deeper layers of muscle and fascia in the body.

Bodywork will include:

• How to leverage your weight

• Using your Elbows and Forearms

• Feeling for Release

• Deeper Muscles

• Pressure does not equal pain

• Pressure receptors in the body

• Adapting to your client’s unique body

• Release the Fascia first

• Working without injury
